Playing with Down Town to Abbey drama inspiration that aired on PBS network, which turns to be such a phenomenon TV program, Ralph Lauren presents his Fall Winter 2012-2013 collection in New York Fashion Week runway, showcasing plenty of gentleman’s elements and styles.
Among the collection, there are number of collection with a classic design but still with a modern touch, along with the Roaring Twenties vibe, marked by the presence of a beaded flapper number and black column dresses detailed with gold and platinum Art Deco embroideries.
Represented by various boy-for-girl suits, ladies in gentlemen styles are featured with classic lines and accessories, reminiscent of World War I, such as plaid double-breasted coats, tweed blazers, knee socks, plaid and heavy sweaters, cloche hats, and wide-leg trousers, along with stylish looks of models walking on stage, donning fabulous velvet black jacket and high-top hat, while carrying a cane and a classic briefcase.
The overall collection actually looked more like dressing for the country and the cocktail party, such as floor cocktail dresses and smart evening wear collection that includes number of incredibly stunning and luxurious gowns, from the little black dress, long sequin dress in gold and black, to satin dresses in fuchsia and green olives.
Extremely glamorous, Ralph Lauren Fall Winter 2012-2013 screams for a vintage look, which at the same time it also allows you so much room to play and modernize as one very sensible wearable clothes for the next season.
