Purity, fragility, and lightness are the keywords of Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy Fall 2011 Haute Couture collection, presented in Paris, featuring delicate long tulle gowns with luxurious embellishments.
Ten lines prevail in white and ivory with precious ornaments, while the long cascades of pearls and sequins, tulle and silks, chantilly lace and airy feathers reflecting the outstanding structured craftsmanship
It’s called the Birds of Paradise, which the precious detail has been done manually by accurate cuts, including a long tulle dress that was decorated with inserted crystals tiger’s-eye pearls as well as the embroideries with tiny silvery caviar beads. Not to mention, all pieces were entirely sewn of symmetrically placed hand-cut silk tulle palettes, resulting sort of exotic looks in elegant and luxurious touches
